el anticlerical parte XXIX

Pues yo no lo queria, pero sigue la mata dando jaja. Recientemente el papa hizo unas declaraciones donde dijo "Si se excluye a Dios el hombre llega al absurdo: Papa". En este post no voy a hacer critica personal sino solo recopilar algunos de los comentarios que la gente hizo en la noticia, publicada por el periodico El Universal, para que vean que no soy el unico anticlerical =P

"Si se quita a dios, quien quiera que esto sea, del ser humano se acabarian TODAS las guerras, incluyendo las de odio... sin embargo tambien se acabarian mucho negocios como el del catolicismo que no es una religion, pero si es una secta muy poderosa..."

"Eso lo dice ese viejito porque es su negocio, Mc Donalds nunca se pronunciaría por el vegetarianismo porque afecta su empresa, es lo mismo, "bussines are bussines" Dios es un invento para controlar a las personas a través del miedo..."

"La verdad os hará libres. La mentira os hará creyentes."

"La inquisición, las guerras santas, las cacerías de brujas, la violencia en contra de minorías, la esclavitud, el antisemitismo, la opresión a las mujeres, sujetos estrellando aviones contra rascacielos. Si, es evidente que creer en Dios hace mejor a nuestro mundo. ¿Realmente creen que es necesario creer en un dios para actuar moralmente?"

How to configure tomcat with SSL

Recently i noticed that the information available in internet to configure tomcat with ssl is confusing, so i'm going to explain what i did in order to get this work in Windows XP.
i used Tomcat 6

first of all i created a .keystore file using the java utility as follows

(i had installed java jre in that path, if you have installed in other location, you can use JAVA_HOME to get there if it were defined)

C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin>keytool -genkey -alias tomcat -keyalg RSA -keypass puki -keystore my.keystore -storepass puki

i'm using the same password for the keypass and sotrepass since i read that if they were different, you would receive an IO Error

after executing the command, a set of questions appear, answer all of them. When you're done with that, your keyfile (my.keystore in my case) will be created in the directory where you ran the command (C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin in my case) i moved this file, and put it inside the webapps directory under my tomcat home (C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\webapps)

Then i edited the file
C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\conf\servers.xml

NOTE: if you installed tomcat in another location, the path might be different but you can always use CATALINA_HOME to get there

i added this lines to the file






after that, i just started tomcat, opened a web browser and tried the URL

https://localhost:8443

and when this window appeared



i knew that i had finished.

The time traveler's wife

El otro dia fui a ver una pelicula llamada "Te amare por siempre" (que para variar el titulo en español no es una traduccion fiel del titulo en ingles "The time traveler's wife"), en la que aparecen Eric Bana y la guapisima Rachel McAdams y que trata de un hombre con un desorden genético, que le hace viajar involuntariamente en el tiempo. Aunque ese desorden le hace desaparecer durante largos periodos, él intenta llevar una vida normal con la mujer a la que ama, una joven y preciosa heredera que intenta adaptarse a la situación. Puedo decir que la pelicula vale la pena verla, es un drama que hasta hizo llorar a una chica sentada en la fila detras de la mia en el cine y eso ya es decir algo. Una historia diferente, que nos hace pensar si en verdad tener esa habilidad puede ser algo bueno, con un buen guion y direccion. 4 estrellitas.
